Solvemed offers a digitized ocular biomarker for use in neurological disease diagnosis. Using the Solvemed app, the clinician performs a quick (5 min) pupil light reflex (PLR) eye exam with a smartphone flashlight and video. The proprietary PLR analytics algorithm diagnoses Parkinson’s disease at various stages of progression with an 85.7% accuracy.
