SWAZA

Emergency Oxygen Delivery - an "EpiPen" for Oxygen

SWAZA

swaza.life | BioTech | San Jose, USA

ABOUT

Swaza offers a fast-acting nanofluid solution to increase oxygen absorption in emergency situations such as asthma, pneumonia, smoke inhalation, and drowning. The nanofluid is used for the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). There are currently no effective treatments for ARDS, leading to severe patient distress. The Swaza nanofluid delivers oxygen directly to lung alveoli and removes carbon dioxide via over-the-counter nebulizers. A modified liposome caging molecule repeatedly shuttles O2 through mucus to alveoli, then binds to CO2 to bring it to the surface where is released and can escape the body. The Swaza solution is positioned to be as ubiquitous as an “EpiPen for Oxygen”.
