BACKGROUND

Vera holds a Masters and PhD from the University of Cambridge where she specialized in energy research. During her masters she worked on biodegradable plastic alternatives using structurally coloured materials and simultaneously completed an entrepreneurship course at the Judge Business School in Cambridge. This is where she first immersed herself in the startup ecosystem. During her PhD she worked on next generation batteries (Li-air batteries) and started consulting VC firms on battery startups. Vera is passionate about energytech and climatetech. In her free time she loves to go hiking and skiing.
